Not just another event.
Walked through a brief history of #TheMacallan , visited the stunning £140m distillery located right where the Easter Elchies House or what I prefer to just call the Macallan House is with world renowned photographer Steve McCurry, virtually of course, witnessed the detailed craftsmanship of the sherry oak casks, enjoyed great food and great company in a small but meticulously crafted closed door setting, carefully paired with the choice of 12,15 and 18 years The Macallan double cask, it was a well worth event I’ve attended in a long time.
Age shouldn’t define how good a spirit is, brand ambassador @themacallanjeremy described. A man in his fifties could possess the energy of a twenties while a man in his twenties could well project a matured and sophisticated demeanour of a fifties. I have to agree to that. Age and price should not be the only defining factors of one’s taste profile. The art lays in good pairing of not only food, but people and ambience.
Last night was great.
